A calculator is provided with a query information storage unit for receiving a query, a stream data processing unit for processing stream data by the received query, a processing result transmission unit for transmitting the result processed by the query to a result reception calculator, and a data transmission unit for transmitting the stream data to the stream data processing unit, and comprises a query acquisition unit for a query stored in the query information storage unit, a query analysis unit for analyzing the query and calculating a prediction value of a data amount to be transmitted by the processing result transmission unit to the result reception calculator, and a flow rate control unit for regulating the stream data to be transmitted by the data transmission unit to the stream data processing unit.
