MUTUAL AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM BASED ON IDENTITIES

A mutual authentication method and system based on identities is disclosed, wherein the method includes: a reader-writer ID2 sends an authentication request packet to an electronic tag ID1; and the electronic tag ID1 authenticates the identity of the reader-writer ID2 based on the second random number N2 and the first integrity check value MIC1 in the authentication request packet when the electronic tag ID1 receives the authentication request packet sent by the reader-writer ID2, and after the reader-writer ID2 is authenticated successfully, the electronic tag ID1 constructs an authentication response packet, and sends the authentication response packet to the reader-writer ID2; the reader-writer ID2 authenticates the identity of the electronic tag ID1 based on the first random number N1, the second random number N2 and the second integrity check value MIC2 in the authentication response packet, and after the electronic tag ID1 is authenticated successfully, the reader-writer ID2 constructs an authentication confirmation packet, and sends the authentication confirmation packet to the electronic tag ID1, then the mutual identity authentication is completed. Application of the present invention can implement the mutual authentication between the electronic tag and the reader-writer and generate a shared session key, and save the cost of communication, and reduce the complexity of communication and computation.
