<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing capable of promptly securing conformability in comparison with a conventional one while securing performance as a superior low friction property using an overlay layer made of low friction synthetic resin. <P>SOLUTION: The sliding bearing 1 includes a bearing alloy layer 2 formed with annular grooves 2a and ridge parts 2b, and the overlay layer 3 made of the low friction synthetic resin covering the surface of the bearing alloy layer. A surface of the overlay layer 3 is uneven along the uneven surface of the bearing alloy layer 2. The ridge part 2b is elastically deformed when a load by a rotary shaft is applied to the sliding bearing, and conformability can be provided between the rotary shaft and the sliding bearing. In comparison with conventional technology of providing conformability between the rotary shaft and the sliding bearing by wearing an overlay layer 3 made of low friction synthetic resin, since conformability can be provided by elastically deforming the ridge parts 2b, conformability between the rotary shaft and the sliding bearing can be promptly provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
