PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of charging of a mobile information apparatus, by mounting a sub-battery for electric power generated such as photovoltaic power generation in addition to a main battery, and independently performing charging control of the main battery and the sub-battery. SOLUTION: A device for supplying electric power includes: a first electric power supply part with the main battery 16, a main charging system 15 to charge the main battery, and a first switcher to control the supply of electric power from the main battery; and a second electric power supply part with the sub-battery 20, a sub-charging system 19 to charge the sub-battery, and a second switcher to control the supply of electric power from the sub-battery.
