PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component for laser, which is an optical component used for refracting laser light in a near infrared light region, such as a fiber laser and a YAG laser, and can suitably correct chromatic aberration, while suppressing the increase of the cost and the absorption of the laser light. SOLUTION: The optical component for laser is for refracting the laser light including a plurality of wavelengths in the wavelength region of 0.8 to 1.6μm being the near infrared light region. The optical component includes at least one convex lens 11 and at least one concave lens 12, the convex lens 11 is made of glass and the concave lens 12 is made of ZnSe or ZnS.
