PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooth surface treatment material which can deal with smooth surfaces of an erupted tooth, a tooth before forming a cavity, etc. SOLUTION: This tooth surface treatment material contains one component in which an inorganic fine particle having 1-100 nm average particle diameter, the surface of which is modified by an alkoxysilane having an unsaturated double bond, is dispersed by 1-70 wt.% in a (meth)acrylate monomer in a monodispersed state, and contains 0.01-10 pts.wt. of a photo-polymerization catalyst to 100 pts.wt. of the component. The tooth surface treatment material has viscosity of≤5,000 cP at 23°C, and is used by applying on the smooth surface of the erupted tooth and/or initial caries state tooth, and thereafter irradiating light to the applied part to polymerize and cure.
