<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal radiation type lighting system serving as both direct illumination and indirect illumination. <P>SOLUTION: Each light source module 1 is provided with a lighting direction conversion part 12 which radiates light emitted from light-emitting elements 40 to side directions. The lighting direction conversion parts 12 are arranged on a mounting unit 6 in a plane shape. The lighting system is provided with first light source modules 1 arranged in a first light source module arrangement region T1 which reflects and guides light emitted from the light source modules 1 to a front direction of the mounting unit 6, and second light source modules 1 arranged in a second light source module arrangement region T2 formed outside the first light source module arrangement region T1.
