PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article carrying device in a simple structure which is conveniently used, without requiring a sending-in device of a complicated structure and preliminary operation for sending in a stage-stacking article up to the innermost part of a storage space of an elevator. SOLUTION: An opening-closing door 40 is arranged at an entrance place of the storage space S of the elevator 3 so as to switch an attitude to an opening state of opening the storage space S to an external part and a blocking-up attitude to be partitioned to the external part by performing rocking operation around the vertical axis y, and the door inner surface side of the opening-closing door 40 is provided with a pressing part 45 capable of pushing in to the innermost side of the storage space S by contacting with the rear surface side in the pushing-in direction of the stage-stacking article of a storage object.
