<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a medicament which is useful for amelioration or treatment of chronic prostatitis, interstitial cystitis and/or urination disorders. Specifically, the present invention relates to a novel pharmaceutical use of an extract from inflamed tissue inoculated with vaccinia virus, and relates to an ameliorating or therapeutic agent for chronic prostatitis, interstitial cystitis and/or urination disorders, said agent containing the extract as an active ingredient. The medicament of the present invention containing the extract as an active ingredient is extremely useful as a highly effective and highly safe ameliorating or therapeutic agent for chronic prostatitis, interstitial cystitis and/or urination disorders.</p> |
