<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the connected state and the non-contact state of a vehicle side load while connecting the vehicle side load directly without using a connection detecting plug or connector in the connector for connecting the vehicle side load. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply device for vehicle includes a traveling battery 1 which supplies electric power to the traveling motor 23 of a vehicle, a positive electrode contactor 3A connected in series to the plus side of the traveling battery 1, a negative electrode contactor 3B connected in series to the minus side of the traveling battery 1, and a controller 10 for determining whether a vehicle side load 20 connected to the output sides of the positive electrode contactor 3A and the negative electrode contactor 3B is in a connected state or non-contact state, wherein the controller 10 includes a voltage detection circuit 12 which detects the capacitor voltage of a vehicle side capacitor connected in parallel to the output sides of the positive electrode contactor 3A and the negative electrode contactor 3B, and a determination circuit 13 which compares the capacitor voltage detected by the voltage detection circuit 12 with a predetermined set voltage and determines connection of the vehicle side load 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
