<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small sized and inexpensive image forming apparatus having a paper full detecting function for preventing stacking failure due to excessive load amount to a paper ejection tray and meeting a use form of a user without providing an exclusive detection part for detecting the height of the stacked paper in an image forming apparatus ejecting printed paper to the ejection tray. <P>SOLUTION: The number of sheets data is accumulated for each passed sheet by using a sheet detection means and an accumulation means 62 which are installed in the image forming apparatus 100.
