PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make moving images obtained by time lapse more natural. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a still image generation part which sequentially generates still image groups including a plurality of still images obtained by picking up an imaging object by differentiating imaging conditions; and a moving image generation part which generates the moving images including the still images selected from each of the plurality of still image groups to be arranged in order of imaging time. In the imaging apparatus, the moving image generation part may select the still images mutually equal in imaging condition from among the plurality of still image groups. In addition, in the imaging apparatus, the moving image generation part may select a synthetic image obtained by synthesizing the plurality of still images included in one of image groups.
