PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly secure the transmissibility of key depressing force and actualizing a good clicking sense, in a key pad incorporated in information equipment such as a cellphone. SOLUTION: On a clad layer 5 on the side of a switch 8 out of a pair of clad layers 4, 5 provided on both sides of a core layer 3, a reinforcing plate 9 harder than the core layer 3 is provided at a site corresponding to a character part 6. Thus, a light guide plate 2, which is so soft as to produce a desired clicking sense, can surely transmit key depressing force to the switch 8.
