PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mating structure, capable of being early mated with another connector with a screw-system mating structure already mounted on an equipment or the like, in mating two connectors. SOLUTION: In the mating structure of a plug connector 20 and a counterpart connector, only by linearly inserting the plug connector 20 and then, inserting a coupling ring 26, a tip of a protruded piece 30 of the plug connector gets engaged with a screw part 60 of the counterpart connector to have the plug connector 20 mated with the counterpart connector.
