PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly estimate a position of a vehicle compartment line, and to output proper drive support information. SOLUTION: A drive support device that is mounted to a vehicle and outputs the drive support information to a driver includes: a white line detection means that detects the vehicle compartment lines laid down on right and left sides of a vehicle line on which the vehicle travels; a vehicle line decision means that determines whether a road on which the vehicle travels is free of a center division line or not based on the position information of the vehicle, or map information; a center line estimation means that estimates a position of a virtual center division line based on the vehicle compartment line detected by the white line detection means when the vehicle line decision means determines that the road is free of the center division line; and an information output means that outputs the drive support information based on the virtual center division line estimated by the center line estimation means.
