PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide kitchen apparatus making a user free from a feeling of pressure and feeling blocked-up, and also securing a storing part. SOLUTION: In this kitchen apparatus, a horizontal frame 42 having a cavity part opened downward is disposed at a position spaced above a kitchen counter 50 and below a ceiling, and the horizontal frame 42 is provided with an elevating rack 1 having shelf parts 5 and 6. The elevating rack 1 is provided to freely elevate or freely rock between an elevated position to store the shelf parts 5 and 6 in the cavity part and a lowered position to dispose the shelf parts 5 and 6 below the cavity part.
