PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ruler for cutting which prevents looseness at a fitting portion, allows accurate angle setting and is excellent in operability. SOLUTION: The ruler for cutting includes an angle perception plate 2 arranged along the end face 52A of a cut material 52, and a guide plate 1 turnably pivoted to the angle perception plate 2 and intersecting the angle perception plate 2 at a predetermined angle Z. The ruler for cutting also includes: notch parts 22 provided in the predetermined angle positions of the guide plate 1; a fitting protrusion 23 slidably provided at the angle perception plate 2 and fitted to the notch part 22; and a coil spring for energizing the fitting protrusion 23 toward the notch part 22. The fitting protrusion 23 is slid toward the notch part 22 and pressed to the notch part 22 by the coil spring. A clearance at the fitting part is thereby eliminated, and the guide plate 1 can be fixed to the angle perception plate 2 at an accurate angle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
