PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact switching power supply circuit having a very long life. SOLUTION: The switching power supply circuit includes a switching element SW1 and a choke coil L1 that are connected between an input terminal a1 and an output terminal b1, a diode D1 connected between a connection point c1 and an output terminal b2, a switching element SW2 and a diode D2 that are connected between an input terminal a2 and the output terminal b1, and a choke coil L2 connected between a contact point c2 and the output terminal b2. A smoothing capacitor C3 is connected between the input terminal a2 and the output terminal b2. A long-life film capacitor and a ceramic capacitor can be used as smoothing capacitors without using any electrolytic capacitor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
