PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microphone device which can change a direction of directional beam of a microphone part with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The microphone device includes a microphone part 100 having omnidirectional microphones A-D placed with spaces each other, a beam former part 200 making up a primary sound pressure gradient microphone unit having one of two microphones as a primary microphone and the other as a secondary microphone by processing sound signals from the two microphones out of the microphones A-D to form the directional beam for the microphone part 100 in directions along placement directions of the primary/secondary microphones, and a switch part 300 provided on a front tier of the beam former part 200 for selectively connecting the two microphones out of the microphones A-D to the beam former part 200.
