PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start an engine by continuing a driving condition of a starter by a relatively easy control processing even when a CPU is reset during the drive of the starter. SOLUTION: The CPU 12 is configured to ignore the establishment of a starter stop condition until a prescribed starter stop condition ignoring time elapses from a reset return when the CPU 12 is reset during the drive of the starter 17 due to a source voltage drop. This configuration can prevent the starter 17 from being stopped by the establishment of the starter stop condition at the reset return of the CPU 12, and enable the engine to start by continuing the cranking of the engine. Herein, the starter stop condition ignoring period can be set based on at least any one of a power supply voltage (a battery voltage), air temperature, oil temperature, cooling water temperature, the number of reset times during one cranking, engine rotating speed, and communication establishment time of an on-vehicle network.
