PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method for a print color reproduction condition, with which whether color reproducibility of a printed matter is high or low can be easily and appropriately evaluated among a large number of condition combinations, and to provide a selection method therefor, and a color conversion method. SOLUTION: Each of designation groups (a group of media 36, a group of laminate films 40 and a group of light sources LS) to be evaluated is designated, all print color reproduction conditions selectable from among the designation groups are set as candidate conditions, and print profiles are generated, respectively, based on first spectral data of a printed matter 38 obtained by printing on the media 36 corresponding to the candidate conditions, second spectral data of the laminate films 40 and third spectral data of the light sources LS. Reproduction colors corresponding to pixels of image data are predicted based on the generated print profiles corresponding to the candidate conditions, whether colors can be reproduced on the pixels is discriminated based on the predicted reproduction colors and target colors in printing, and condition evaluation information is generated for evaluating the candidate conditions based on a result of the reproduction discrimination.
