Disclosed is a succinic acid manufacturing method wherein a saccharide is reacted with microorganisms having succinic acid productivity, and which is characterised in that the oxygen transfer rate to succinic acid production rate ratio (mmo1-O2/mo1-SA) is 0.1-240, and in that during reaction the microorganism doubling time is not less than 40 hours.
