PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust the position of a supported object by shifting it laterally without impairing a vibration control effect for absorbing shock while preventing the movement of the supported object associated with vibration or the like of an earthquake. SOLUTION: This height adjusting leg fitting for adjusting the height of the supported object includes a bolt shaft 1 screwed into the supported object from below, and a pedestal 2 holding the bolt shaft 1 to stand up from the top part. An adhesive sheet 4 having stickiness and resilience is mounted to the lower face of the pedestal 2. The supported object is buffer-fixed to the floor face through the adhesive sheet 4, and the height of the supported object is adjusted in association with the relative rotation of the bolt shaft 1 and a member screwed with the bolt shaft 1. The bolt shaft 1 is inserted in a vertically slidable manner through the pedestal 2, and a pedestal operating nut 6 screwed with the bolt shaft 1 is rotatably provided at the top part of the pedestal 2. When the pedestal operating nut 6 is turned, the pedestal 2 is lifted relative to the bolt shaft 1, and the pedestal 2 is lifted to separate the adhesive sheet 4 from the floor face.
