PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorophor for low-speed electron beams, making the high luminance and long-service life of the cadmium-free fluorophor compatible with each other, and having excellent high-temperature leave-to-stand characteristics, and to provide a fluorescent display device using the fluorophor. SOLUTION: The fluorophor for low-speed electron beams is such that: a deposition layer is formed on the surface of a fluorophor body represented by chemical formula (1); wherein the deposition layer consists of a plurality of oxide layers laminated sequentially on the surface of the fluorophor body. In chemical formula (1), M is at least one element selected from Al, Ga, In, Mg, Zn, Li, Na, K, Gd, Y and La; and x meets the relationship: 0≤x≤1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
