PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method in a drop-on-demand droplet ejection device where performance of the device is not influenced by frequency response of an ejector when the device is operated over a wide range of the frequency. SOLUTION: The driving method drives the droplet ejection device 12 and causes the device to eject a single droplet in response to tow or more pulses by using a multipulse waveform including two or more pulses each having an about 25 or less pulse cycle.
