摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to image quality improvement by correcting deviation, at an inflection point of a pixel, from an inflection point of reference characteristics. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes an imaging element composed of a plurality of pixels having photoelectric conversion characteristics being different with an inflection point as a boundary. The imaging apparatus has an inflection point variation correcting module for correcting the deviation, at the inflection point of each of the pixels, from an inflection point of a reference photoelectric conversion characteristic for each pixel. The variation correcting module classifies the photoelectric conversion characteristics of a plurality of pixels into a plurality of patterns less in number than the number of pixels according to inflection point positions. The photoelectric conversion characteristics of the pixels classified into the patterns are corrected according to characteristic conversion pattern information, for inflection point correction, stored for each of the plurality of patterns.
