PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air compressor for allowing different function components to be quickly attached/detached to/from a branch pipe part. SOLUTION: The air compressor includes an air compressor body, and the plurality of function components. At the pipe end of each functional component, a mounting joint part is provided which consists of a substrate portion, a pair of mounting arm portions protruded from both ends of the substrate portion with a space d therebetween, and a clamping pawl protruded from the free end of the mounting arm portion with the front ends mutually opposed with a space therebetween. At the end of the branch pipe part of the air compressor body, a corner portion is formed which has a contour line cutting an corner portion on one diagonal line of a rectangular plate having a long side space b narrower than the space d between the front ends of the clamping pawl and a short side space a wider than the space d between the front ends of the clamping pawl. A joint substrate is provided where a maximum distance L between an intersection O of the diagonal line of the original rectangular plate and a point P on the contour line is a value within a range of d<2L
