PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart waterproof performance, equivalent to that of a waterproof window etc., to a bearing wall line-crossed section for a hand-cut log house construction method, in a method for working the bearing wall line-crossed section. SOLUTION: After general crossed-section working, a groove 4 for collecting inward running water, and a water-conveyance hole 3 for securing a space so as to immediately discharge the collected water downward are additionally worked; and working is performed so that the water running inward from the crossed section can be discharged under a wall while being prevented from running into the indoor-side wall.
