PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket cover capable of reducing the risk of deformation and damage by decreasing the degree of deterioration. SOLUTION: An insertion-and-fitting portion, into which a piping-side connecting portion can be inserted and fitted, and a fitting part 42, into which a body portion 24 can be fitted, are provided. The fitting part 42 is provided with a holding portion 62 for inelastically holding the body portion 24 and comprising: an elastically expandable opening 46 into which the body portion 24 can be inserted and fitted from a lateral direction thereof; first, second and third abutting surfaces 52, 53 and 54 to which three faces out of four outer peripheral surfaces of the body portion 24 can be abutted respectively; and a fixing rib 60 protrusively provided at the opening end of the opening 46 in such a manner as to abut on a partial region of the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 24. In addition, a tapered portion 58 capable of guiding a corner of the inserted/fitted body portion 24 to the third abutting surface 54 is provided on the back side of the end of the opening 46 facing the fixing rib 60.
