PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe hair dye having good shampoo resistance, a good hair-dyeing property and color tone of brown color, and further preservation stability of an iron salt. SOLUTION: This hair dye is provided by including a combination of (1) a first agent containing (a) at least≥1 kind selected from a gallic acid analog, catechin and laccaic acid, and (b) curcumine or a curcumine-containing component, and (2) a second agent containing (a) the iron salt, and (b) anα-hydroxy acid or a polyhydric alcohol.
