The device (1) has a set of hydraulic chambers formed between a drive element (3) and a camshaft (2) and actuated with pressure fluid to adjust a defined relative rotational position between the drive element and the camshaft. The drive element and a lid element (4) i.e. cover cap, exhibit respective recesses to prevent twisting of the lid element arranged relative to a base body (5) of the driving element during mounting operation of the device. A fuse element i.e. pin, partially passes through the recesses, and is extended in an axial direction (A) of the device.
