The present invention relates to a Locking system (10) comprising a locking device (12) with a locking installation (14), a drive unit (28) and a control circuit (20), wherein said locking installation (14) is manoeuvrable between a first and a second state for opening and locking, respectively, of the locking device (12), wherein said drive unit (28) is arranged for manoeuvring the locking installation (14) at least from the said second state to the said first state as a response to the reception of a control signal. Said control circuit (20) includes a detector (22) for detecting radio signals having a strength exceeding a preset reference value, a comparator (24) being arranged to in response to each detected radio signal compare the radio signal with said preset radio signal, and a control signal transmitter (26) being arranged to, if the radio signal compared by the comparator (24) is identical to said preset radio signal, transmit said control signal to said drive unit (28).
