<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film having excellent hydrolysis resistance and dimensional stability and suitable for long-term use in a severe environment such as in a usage environment for a solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: A biaxially oriented polyester film is provided, which has: an equilibrium moisture content of from 0.1 mass% to 0.25 mass%; a difference in the moisture content measured at any points at 10 cm intervals, of from 0.01 mass% to 0.06 mass%; a degree of crystallinity of from 30% to 40%; a concentration of terminal carboxyl groups of from 5 equivalents/ton to 25 equivalents/ton; and a thickness of from 100 μm to 350 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
