<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine which can suppress the deterioration of combustion state of an valve element caused by the adhesion of deposit. <P>SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 10 is equipped with a variable valve mechanism 12 for driving an intake valve 14 and exhaust valve 16. A NOx sensor 34 is provided downstream from a DPF 32 in an exhaust passage 30. On the basis of the output value of the NOx sensor 34 after the regeneration of the DPF 32 during operation of the internal combustion engine 10, control contents of the variable valve mechanism 12 for driving the intake valve 14 and exhaust valve 16 of the internal combustion engine 10 are corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
