PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lamp system eliminating unnecessary operation in the other vehicle by notifying the priority of traveling of one's own vehicle through a lighting state of a lamp, and securing safety and smooth traveling of vehicles. SOLUTION: The vehicle lamp system includes: one's own vehicle information detection means 14 detecting traveling information of the own vehicle; another vehicle traveling information detection means 15 detecting traveling information of the other vehicle; a priority calculation means 16 calculating the priority of one's own vehicle and the other vehicle based on the own vehicle traveling information and the other vehicle traveling information; and a lamp control means 17 changing and controlling the lighting form of lamps HL, TSL of the own vehicle based on the obtained priority. The priority between the own vehicle and the other vehicle is confirmed by recognizing the lighting form of the lamp of the other vehicle, and traveling corresponding to the lighting form is performed to achieve smooth traveling.
