PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress formation of irregular lighting and shadowed portions by allowing an observation section provided at a rigid tip end section to catch an operating instrument outlet in an observation visual field. SOLUTION: A slope face part 5 for installation of an observation means, mounted with a lighting section 3 and the observation section 4, is formed at a rear end side position of the rigid tip end section 1b; a passage opening face section 9 facing to the axial direction of the rigid tip section 1b and having an operating instrument outlet 11 formed is formed at the distal side thereof and behind an ultrasonic transducer 2, and portions in the right/left of the passage opening face section 9 are cut off in an obliquely downward direction to form light guiding retraction wall sections 21, 21 and other lighting sections 22 are installed on the light guiding retraction wall sections 21.
