The clamp (1) has a planar leg (3a) with a guide element (7) for guiding a strapping belt. The leg and another planar leg (3b) are releasably engaged with recesses e.g. slots, formed in crate wall elements. The legs are arranged at an angle below 90 degrees with respect to each other. The guide element is formed as a one-piece element on the legs, where the guide element and another guide element are arranged at a distance from each other. The wall elements are fluid tightly connected with one another by connection brackets that are connected at arbitrary locations into the recesses. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a transportation crate comprising a crate clamp (2) a method for assembling the transportation crate (3) crate wall elements for a transportation crate.
