<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery, along with a nonaqueous electrolyte, capable of preventing OCV reduction during continuous charge and preventing generation of gas. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte battery includes a cathode 11, an anode 12, and electrolyte solution having a nonaqueous solvent and electrolyte salt.
