PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing the number of speakers without deteriorating the quality of a reproduced sound field as far as possible in a BoSC reproduction system using a principle of boundary sound field control.
SOLUTION: In the this three-dimensional sound field reproduction system consisting of a plurality of speakers surrounding the head of a listener, which is constituted based on a boundary sound field control (BoSC) theory, (a) the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization evaluation values between a predetermined reference speaker and the respective evaluation target speakers are calculated, (b) the evaluation speakers are selected in order of higher Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization evaluation value, (c) the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization evaluation value between a subsystem consisting of the reference speaker and the selected speakers for evaluation and unselected evaluation target speakers is calculated, (d) steps (b) and (c) are repeated, and at the point of time when the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization evaluation value becomes less than a predetermined threshold, selection is stopped. By this method, a 24 channel secondary sound source system which can be easily constituted using a general A/D converter is determined.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
