AQUEOUS PIGMENT DISPERSION COMPOSITION, INKJET INK, INKJET RECORDING METHOD AND RECORDED MATTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous pigment dispersion composition having excellent dispersibility of a carbon black pigment as well as exhibiting excellent optical density, glossiness and resistance against a marker when the composition is used for inkjet ink.

SOLUTION: The aqueous pigment dispersion composition comprises a self-dispersion type carbon black pigment (A) and a vinyl-modified epoxy ester resin (B) comprising an unsaturated fatty acid-modified epoxy ester resin, in which polyvinyl groups are bonded to at least a part of unsaturated groups, both dispersed in an aqueous medium (C), wherein preferably an acid number of the solid content of the vinyl-modified epoxy ester resin (B) is from 10 to 150 mgKOH/g.
