PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact coin depositing and dispensing machine. SOLUTION: The coin depositing and dispensing machine includes: an identifying unit 13 for identifying a coin input in a receiving unit 12; a reject unit 14 for rejecting a coin that cannot be identified by the identifying unit 13; a temporary reservoir 15 for temporarily storing the coin identified in the identifying unit 13; a return unit 16 for returning the coin temporarily stored in the temporary reservoir 15; storing and delivering units 17a-17f for storing the coins temporarily stored in the temporary reservoir 15 and delivering the stored coins; a dispensing unit 18 for dispensing the coins delivered from the storing and delivering units 17a-17f; a circulating and conveying mechanism 85 for connecting the identifying unit 13 with the temporary reservoir 15 so as to circulate and convey the coins; and a storing and conveying mechanism 86 that is branched from the circulating and conveying mechanism 85 to convey the coins conveyed by the circulating and conveying mechanism 85 to the storing and delivering units 17a-17f.
