<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building and a roof on which a solar battery panel can be disposed efficiently at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A gambrel roof 12 includes a gabled roof-shaped part 23 having two rectangular flat side-upper part roof surfaces 22 declining on both sides of a main ridge 21, respectively, and a hipped roof-shaped part 26 having trapezoidal flat lower side roof surface 24 which is continuous with the flat upper side roof surface 22 on the lower side of the gambled roof-shaped part 23 and two trapezoidal gable end side roof surfaces 25 declining on both gable ends of the main ridge 23, respectively. The flat roof surface 28 is formed of the flat upper side roof surface 22 and the flat lower side roof surface 24. The solar battery panel 11 installed on the flat roof surface 28 is installed from the upper end of the flat roof surface 28, and formed by vertically and horizontally paving a plurality of rectangular solar battery modules 14. The value of the lateral width of the flat upper side roof surface 22 is set to a value obtained through the integral multiple of the lateral width of the solar battery module 14 or a value obtained by adding an allowance to the value of the integral multiple. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
