<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To copy a print image after partially replacing at least a part of the image, while suppressing the amount of data to be recorded in bar codes as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The image A1 of a copy source has: the print image C1; the first bar code B1; the second bar codes B2a-B2d; and language names L. When the image A1 where writing W to enclose any language name L is performed is read by the scanner of a composite machine, a Japanese text T1 and a graph G1 including a Japanese text portion, which are arranged in replacement areas Rr1, Rr2 in the print image C1 recorded in the first bar code B1, are replaced with a text T2 being the translation of the text T1 and a graph G2 being the translation of the text portion of the graph G1, which are recorded in the second bar code B2a corresponding to the language name L enclosed by the writing W.
