<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission substrate with the heat propagating from an photoelectric transducer reduced, and an optical transmission substrate which provides an optical module. <P>SOLUTION: The optical transmission substrate includes a substrate; a metal layer provided on the substrate; an optical waveguide installed on the substrate; and a metallic reflecting portion which is provided with a photoelectric transducer in the upper part for enabling coupling with the optical waveguide which has an optical reflection face, inclined with respect to the optical axis of the optical waveguide, and which is installed in contact with the metallic layer and in the upper part of the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
