PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality optical scanner which prevents or restrains the displacement of a lens, when an adhesive is cured, when the lens is fixed by using the adhesive, and to provide an image-forming device equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The optical scanner includes a light source 51, a lens 52 through which a light emitted from the light source 51 passes, and a housing 31 in which the lens 52 is installed. In addition, a composition is adopted, wherein a prescribed edge part 52a of the lens 52 contacts the installation face 31b of the housing 31 and at both the sides, in a direction of the optical axis L of the light of the edge part 52a; prescribed adhesives G1, G2 are applied between one lens face 52b and the other lens face 52c of the lens 52 and the installation face 31b, respectively, so as to fix the lens 52 to the housing 31.
