The device (100) has a transmission-reception unit (150) for connecting two antennas (310, 320), where the transmission-reception unit has a control unit (120) for controlling switching between the antennas using two control signals (SW1, SW2)assigned to the antennas, respectively. The control unit outputs one of the control signals and transmits a data frame (D1') to another transmission-reception device (200) over one of the antennas when another data frame (D2) does not contain acknowledgement message (ACK) within predetermined time. An independent claim is also included for a method for transmitting data of a transmission-reception device to another transmission-reception device of a radio network.
