<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly stick a trace amount of additives to the surfaces of the ceramic particles. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing surface-modified ceramic powder includes: a step of generating an aqueous solution comprising ceramic particles, the water-soluble salt of the constituting metal of a metal oxide to be added thereto, a complexing agent to the cations of a metallic element and a cationic functional monomer; a step of causing polymerization reaction in the above aqueous solution to obtain a mixture of the polymerized reactant and the ceramic particles; and a step of drying and calcining the mixture to convert the metal ions into a metal oxide and also to remove the polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
