<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll device whose cost can be lowered and which can reduce air consumption volume. <P>SOLUTION: The roll device 1 includes: a hollow roll body 2; a shaft body 4 inserted into the hollow of the roll body 2 with a gap 3 interposed therebetween; a pair of static pressure gas bearings 7 and 8 disposed at both ends 5 and 6 of the roll body 2 respectively to support the roll body 2 by a static pressure gas in a radial direction and each interposed between the roll body 2 and the shaft body 4; and a magnetic bearing 9, which supports the roll body 2 by the magnetic force in a thrust direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
