<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in manufacture of a tire mold and a pneumatic tire. <P>SOLUTION: The method for designing the tire mold includes a process of dividing a sector of the tire mold into at least 8 equal pieces in the circumferential direction of the tire, and establishing display sector molds each having a tread wear indication and non-display sector molds each having no tread wear indication, and a process of establishing a combination of the display sector molds and non-display sector molds, and arranging a predetermined number of tread wear indications at the equal interval in the circumferential direction of the tire. By this, since it is possible to use the sector molds of the same construction having the tread wear indication, the efficiency in the manufacture of the tire mold and the pneumatic tire is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
