PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stable formability without breaking aluminum foil nor generating pin holes or the like in it when cold-forming all die forms and form depths in a cold-forming type battery wrapping material using a biaxial stretching nylon film as a main base material, and to suppress occurrence of delamination between respective layers, in particular, between a base material layer and a barrier layer in the step of sealing it by heat-sealing and when used for a long period of time in a high-temperature state. SOLUTION: With respect to the cold-forming battery case wrapping material formed by laminating the base material layer, the barrier layer, a barrier material reinforcing layer, and a sealant layer in this order from the outer side, the biaxially stretched nylon film which is not more than 5.0 MPa in thermal contraction stress maximum value at 170-210°C both in MD and TD, is reduced in anisotropy, and is increased in tensile strength is used as the base material layer and the barrier material reinforcing layer.
